Women on the front page

Thomson Foundation led a project tackling the deep rooted stereotypes that favour men over women in Georgia’s patriarchal society. Journalists were introduced to the relevant news values of covering gender equality issues and the promotion of gender equality in their newsrooms. Parliamentary press officers focused on framing public policy directly impacting gender equality and directing media relations.
