Anton Artemyev

Anton oversees our partnership relationships in Germany and within our wider European donor and media landscapes.

He previously worked with the Open Society Foundations, OSF, where he headed the Eastern Europe and Central Asia work as Division Director. This included coordinating OSF's response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. 

Anton began his career in media development and public policy in Kazakhstan. The majority of his experience was with the Soros Foundation and his last position was as Chair of the Executive Council (Executive Director).

He completed an MBA in business administration at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and was awarded a Diploma of Higher Education from the Academy of Labour and Social Relations.

Anton speaks German, Russian, English and Polish and has elementary proficiency in Spanish.
