As Thomson’s Media and Communications Manager, Angela spearheads the foundation's efforts in promoting its diverse programmes and plays a crucial role in integrating communication strategies across various platforms.
With over 25 years of experience in journalism, public relations, and web development, Angela has a strong background in both print and digital media. An Italian-Brazilian, she has worked in newsrooms in South America and Europe, reporting subjects as varied as science, politics, and entertainment.
Relocating to the UK, Angela served as a UK correspondent to news outlets while also developing and implementing communication strategies in the private and third-sectors across the UK.
With a keen interest in technology and cultural diversity, she expanded her international approach by collaborating with the gaming industry and managed multilingual localisation projects targeting the Latin American and US markets.
Angela holds a Degree in Journalism from PUCRS (Brazil) and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in the UK.
Beyond her professional life, she is passionate advocate for neurodiversity. She is deeply committed to lifelong learning and actively participates in Autism and ADHD groups, contributing her insights and support both locally and internationally.
Angela is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English, with an intermediate knowledge of Italian.
