Phil Wardman

Phil specialises in training in news gathering and planning for television and digital platforms and newsroom management for the Thomson Foundation. 

He has over 30 years experience as a journalist working for Sky News,  ITV News, the BBC and Thomson Reuters. 

As Head of UK news at Sky, he planned special events from; World Cups to UK General Elections, Royal Weddings to the Olympic Games.

He has won awards from the British based Royal Television Society and BAFTA for his role in organising news coverage at Sky, and has been a judge for the RTS Awards, BAFTA and the Monte Carlo TV festival.
